We love what we do.

Deeply Rooted aims to grow and supply farm fresh vegetables while celebrating the land and the people we provide for. It’s an honour to be growing food and living so intimately with the land— and it’s you— our very special community that make that dream come true. Thank you for helping our dreams become a reality!

Deeply Rooted acknowledges it is here because of the many ancestors and supporters of this Land—who tended, cared, lived & loved. We acknowledge that we are on Treaty 6 Territory and that specifically where we grow is the traditional lands of Blackfoot, Cree, and Nakota peoples. It is our deepest desire to be in right relationship with the Land & all our relations —we are here to participate in all the learning we have ahead of us.

Our Team

Lauren has fond memories of running barefoot outside as a child with her siblings building tree forts and catching frogs on the family land. Her belief of food as medicine led her to study Nutrition. More of a tactile learner: she has traveled, worked in outdoor adventure, WOOFed, gardened, taught yoga & has studied Thai massage. She has a deep desire to share in community and appreciates the knowledge of the land. “There is no better place than to wake up with the birds, have dirt under your finger nails, and know you did something to give back to your community”.

Sally believes in the inherent value and connection all human beings share with the earth. This belief led to her pursuit in protecting the spaces she loves - obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Conservation Sciences. With the current environmental and health challenges we see today, she believes that growing healthy, local and chemical-free produce is a step towards a better world that connects people to their food and community. Her interests consist of snowboarding, hiking, art, camping and foraging.

“The ability to be outside allows one to truly be themselves, to reflect and to feel that sense of connection one has with the land”.
